The Inter-professional Association of Organic Wines from Languedoc-Roussillon (AIVB-LR) was born in 1991, initiated by winegrowers practicing this form of agriculture. The tremendous development of organic viticulture, at the beginning of the 90’s, incited them to form a group in order to collectively promote their wines.

Today, AIVB-LR is accepted by all the professionals and the public authorities as an active and dynamic association which has widely contributed to the notoriety of the wines from Organic Agriculture from Languedoc-Roussillon.
